Admissions are open for new students all year long for academic sessions starting in April each year. The registration process opens from August the previous year, while the application reviewing process by our Admissions Team commences in January each year.
Mr. Ashwani Kumar Saxena, Principal GIIS Whitefield is a passionate educator and an efficient school administrator with a rich experience of 28 years. His qualifications include MSc (Chemistry), MSc (IT), PGDCA, MBA (School Management) and a bachelor’s degree in education.
He has worked with various reputed schools in different capacities. His passion for IT led him to designing the School website, and ERP as a multipurpose communication portal for Management, Staff, Student and Parents.
Ms. Preetha D’Mello, Headmistress Pre Primary has been with GIIS Whitefield Bangalore since its inception in 2013. Prior to her posting at Bangalore Whitefield campus she worked with GIIS Singapore East Coast Campus as the Coordinator of the Kindergarten segment. She heads theGlobal Montessori Plus Programme at Whitefield, which caters to education in the Pre Primary segment. Ms. Preetha holds an International Diploma in Teaching and Learning from Cambridge University. She also holds an Advanced Diploma in Montessori.
As the head of GMP she is responsible for training of staff and curriculum delivery. She has contributed to the development of the revised GMP v2 curriculum. Ms. Preetha has also developed online courses for teachers on topics like Importance of Play and Facilitating Friendship in Early Years as well as Active Learning Strategies.
Ms. Jeelu Mary Varghese, a highly ambitious, motivated and talented individual with wide-range of experience in the field of Marketing, Product Development, Professional Training and Teaching. A natural leader with innovative ideas and result-oriented approach. Pursuing a career which provides the space and freedom for the best use of her abilities and widening her horizon.
As Academic Coordinator Grade 1 o 5, Ms. Jeelu’s roles and responsibilities includes Ensuring effective delivery of the curriculum, suggesting changes, effective methods and enhancing the learning outcomes, Setting benchmarks, Goals for the department, motivating and counselling team to achieve the same, Ensure teacher development and effective teaching methods,Coordinating with various departments like admissions, administrative teams, Maintaining discipline and ensuring appropriate enforcement of corrective measures, Developing innovative methods to ensure an effective learning outcomes for students, Improving the class averages, To be an effective ambassador for the school, Customer relation and satisfaction which helps in retaining existing customers and improving the present customer base.

Ms. J Anuradha, with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, plays the role of a consultant, helper, a friend and a guide to all concerned staff so that the school can uplift its standards and exhibit excellence in all spheres.
As Academic Coordinator for Grade 6 to 12 for the last 2.5 yrs, Ms. Anuradha is responsible for planning and execution of all major school events, responsible for achieving target results of Board classes and execution of CBSE registrations. Achieved high Academic Performance Index (API) in class XII -CBSE Board Examination for six consecutive years in the subject of Biology. Twice got an Appreciation letter from Minister of HRD Ms Smriti Irani for excellent Board results.

I have been the Master Trainer for CBSE Leadership Training Principals and Teachers on Classroom Management, Life Skills, Value Education, Career Guidance and Assessment of Secondary Classes on behalf of CBSE. I have been the center Observer for CBSE exams and Science Exhibition conducted by CBSE. I have published a number of articles in newspapers, research papers in leading journals and presented papers at the National Science Congress. I am the topper in B.sc from Calcutta University and has many prestigious awards in the field of education.
